Hi, I'm Katy!

I've been part of the team since September 2025 and I'm absolutely loving it - getting to know all the dogs and watching their personalities shine is a real highlight of my day.

Dogs have been central to my life since childhood. Growing up on a farm gave me a deep appreciation for working breeds, and that passion has never left me. I currently share my home with a rescue collie, a Romanian rescue, and the newest addition to the family - a springador puppy!

Day to day, you'll find me working in the kennels, chatting with owners about their dogs, and making the most of every opportunity to work one-to-one with individual dogs. That personal connection - really getting to know each dog as an individual - is something I genuinely treasure.

I also spent just over three years as lead volunteer at a dog rescue, helping dogs rebuild their trust in humans and find loving forever homes. It was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and it's what drives my commitment to every dog in my care here.
